BLOGGER TEMPLATES AND TWITTER BACKGROUNDS
I know what you're thinking. Not another girl "gamer." Well, I'm not a "girl gamer" I'm female gamer. What's the difference? I don't do it for attention. In fact, I'd rather just be one of the guys.

In the Real World: A Collection

In case you missed my first post, I started this blog mainly because I am starting a collection of photographs (and possibly drawings) of what a video game would look like in today’s world. This may be characters, landscapes, buildings, pretty much any visual element of video games.

I thought I would show you the beginning of my collection: “In the Real World.”

Take a look at this picture taken May 16, 2009 in Seattle, Washington:

Picture The Wind Waker. Link is sailing home to Outset Island after a long day of saving the world. The seagulls are flying along side his ship and the mountains are silhouetted against the summer sun setting.

I want to have a whole collection based off of video games. If you have any ideas for games I should find inspiration in, please leave a comment and I’ll start looking!

Interview with Elder-Geek

I had the privilege of being interviewed by Elder-Geek.com! If you want to read the article, here’s the link:

Wow! I never thought anyone would be interested in me! To be honest, when I found out from my friend Dan that they wanted to do a feature on me, it was like the scene in The Jerk when Steve Martin's character gets the phone book:

"This is the kind of spontaneous publicity - your name in print - that makes people. I'm in print! Things are going to start happening to me now!"

A New Perspective

So, the reason I started this blog was so that I could start a collection. I have decided to make a collection of photographs that portray video games as they would appear in the real world. For example, what would would Hyrule look like if you saw it on vacation? I'll post more soon, but hopefully you're hooked!
